With this private Spain health insurance you can use all doctors, specialists and hospitals within the medical network of the private health insurance company. These costs are reimbursed up to 100% and paid directly from the insurer to the relevant institution. You do not have to advance anything yourself.

With DKV's Health insurance policy (Integral / Professional) you are insured for consultation and treatment of specialists and for any necessary examinations. This includes: *

Hospitalization
The reimbursement of all hospital costs includes: costs for general treatment, nursing, operating theater and medicines in the hospital. The hospital offers a single room with toilet and a bed for an accompanying person *.
* With the exception of psychiatric hospitalization, Intensive care unit (ICU) and incubator rooms.
Worldwide coverage for emergencies
This policy includes worldwide cover for emergencies during journeys of up to 180 days. This coverage is provided through an emergency center and it is important to contact them within 72 hours of admission.
This includes the following coverages:
- Transport and repatriation of sick and injured people
- Early return due to death of a family member
- Medical consultation by telephone
- Hospitalization (incl. medical and pharmaceutical costs)
- Emergency dental treatment
Contribution
You can take out this insurance with or without a personal contribution per treatment. The personal contributions will be charged at the next payment term together with the premium.
Preventive examinations
This policy also includes preventive examinations against, among other things, colon cancer, breast and cervical cancer, prostate cancer, cardiovascular disease, visit to the dentist and dental hygienist, check-up of newborns up to the age of four.
